Weekly blessing from Hebrews 10:23,
"May you hold unswervingly to the hope we profess for he who promised is faithful."
The picture is of "old faithful" geyser at Yellowstone National Park. Yet, to be honest, it's not that faithful. Eruptions can shoot 3,700 to 8,400 gallons of boiling water to a height of 106 to 185 feet and last from 1 minute to 5 minutes. Eruptions can range from every 45 minutes to every 125 minutes. It may be called "old faithful" but there is still a great deal of unknown every time it erupts. It could erupt now ... or in a half hour. The eruption could last 1 minute ... or 5 minutes. Yet, we still call it faithful.
Well, if this geyser if faithful we have downgraded our standard of faithfulness or we need to come up with a stronger description of God.
We can put our hope in God because he truly is faithful ... always ... every time ... without a doubt.
You can put your trust in him because he is there ... always ... every time ... without a doubt.
May you hold unswervingly,
