God’s invitation for us is to experience fellowship with Him, made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We sometimes find ourselves, like the guests in this passage, making excuses to not follow Jesus. However, Jesus tells us that being a disciple is a lifestyle of full surrender.
